The DART Rate is calculated by multiplying the number of DART incidents by 200,000 (a standard multiplier) and dividing by the total employee hours worked. The result helps evaluate the workplace's safety record:

• Good DART Rate (≤ 1): Indicates that the workplace has a low incident rate and safety practices are effective.
• Acceptable DART Rate (1 - 3): Indicates that the rate is acceptable but there’s still room for improvement.
• Bad DART Rate (> 3): Indicates a higher-than-expected rate, signaling the need for immediate action to enhance safety and reduce incidents.
