How the Stack Height Calculator Works:

This tool helps you estimate the total height of the exhaust stack needed for a generator based on the height of the building and the generator's power capacity.

The calculation is based on two main inputs:

• Height of the Building (h): The height of the building where the generator is installed.
• Total Generator Capacity (KVA): The total power output of the generator, measured in kilovolt-amperes (KVA).

To calculate the required stack height, the formula combines both values:

• The height of the building is added to an additional height based on the generator's capacity.
• The generator's capacity is used to calculate an additional height of 0.2 times the square root of the KVA value. This helps ensure proper dispersion of exhaust gases.

This results in an estimated total stack height that ensures safe and effective exhaust dispersion for the generator.
